DESCRIPTION: This position provides ITIL-based Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) knowledge and expertise to Cask customers and stakeholders in support of IT service management efforts. The employee will provide specific ITSM processes (such as Change Management and Service Asset and Configuration Management) support to the preparation and evaluation of technical documents, papers, studies, analysis, and briefings in support of the service management environment(s). Must competently communicate and partner with customer service owners and managers on service management process improvement(s) and participate in appropriate customer-focused service management forums and meetings. Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position. Telework is at the client’s discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with continuous process improvement efforts, including development and implementation of ITIL policies, processes, procedures, and work level instructions, with 3 years as a technical leader coordinating with tools teams to ensure linkage between functional requirements and technology integrations among the various ITIL process areas

• Knowledge of and experience implementing the Department of Defense Enterprise Service Management Framework

• Provide ITIL-based Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) knowledge and expertise to customers and stakeholders • Provide specific ITSM process (such as Change Management and Service Asset and Configuration Management) support to the preparation and evaluation of technical documents, papers, studies, analysis, and briefings

• Communicate and partner with customer service owners and managers on service management process improvement(s)

• Participate in appropriate customer-focused service management forums and meetings

Required Skills / Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in planning and delivering IT management services across multi-capability areas, utilizing core ITIL processes, including Incident Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Financial Management, and Request Fulfillment

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with information technology service managers and service owners

• Demonstrated experience communicating complex ideas with stakeholders and building collaborative relationships with team members, customers, and other stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects and efforts with minimum guidance

• ITIL v3 Expert (preference given for additional ITIL certification levels such as ITIL Practitioner, ITIL Managing Professional and ITIL Strategic Leader)

• Excellent Microsoft Office Productivity suite skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Experience using Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira preferred

• Agile or Scrum experience preferred

• Project Management Professional certification preferred

• CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification preferred

• BS or BA degree in a Business, Management, Computer Science, or relevant discipline from an accredited college/university

• 4 years of directly related experience may be substituted for the BS or BA degree requirement

Security Clearance: All personnel must have an active Secret security clearance.
