POSITION: Logistics Analyst- Mid
LOCATION: Stafford, VA
STATUS: Contingent on Contract Award
CLEARANCE: Active Secret Clearance Required
TRAVEL: Up to 25%
DESCRIPTION:
Oversees, coordinates, and manages freight, supply, and production logistics to maximize efficiency. Evaluates and identifies methods and procedures to optimize and streamline production processes.
As a Logistics Analyst, you will:
· May serve as Lead Logistician.
· Provide ILS services IAW DoD regulation and policy such as DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 5000.75.
· Coordinate and monitor all acquisition logistics and sustainment functions as assigned
· Participate in the evaluation of technical proposals and development of acquisition strategies for system acquisitions.
· Participate in program reviews and working groups/events/activities.
· Propose acquisition logistics thresholds, objectives, and Milestone Decision Review exit criteria.
· Participate in all system acquisition phases and Milestone Decision Reviews, as appropriate.
· Monitor the development and delivery of all acquisition logistics products and deliverables to ensure requirements are satisfied in time for deployment.
· Participate in the configuration management process to ensure ILS requirements are met.
· Coordinate with stakeholders and other responsible organizations to track the status of corrective actions.
Required Skills / Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business, Logistics Management or related field or related field
· 6+ years of related experience.
