LOCATION: Stafford, VA
STATUS: Contingent on Contract Award

DESCRIPTION: 
Manages a team of IT security professionals; and plans, designs, manages, and implements programs, networks, and systems that protect a company's information systems and computer networks from cyber-attacks, intrusions, malware, and various types of data breaches; and assures the networks are kept running smoothly in order to protect all sensitive data and prevent loss of time and money. Identifies current security threats, predicts future attacks, and designs a security incident response program with a documented plan of action to take if a security incident occurs. Remediates security incidents and works with upper management to prepare for potential business repercussions.

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will: 
Research National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Chairman of the Joints Chiefs of Staff, DoD, Department of the Navy (DON), and USMC Policy and Guidance on Cyber-Security and related topics in response to requests for data or information related to cybersecurity topics, posture, impacts, or issues and reviews. Review architectures and designs for cyber-security compliance and provide recommendations Perform security measures including analysis, periodic testing, evaluation, verification, accreditation, and review of information system installations at appropriate classification levels. Support the Portfolio Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in compliance reviews of portfolio systems.

•  Act as the primary representative and client point of contact for Cybersecurity services.
•  Provide technical leadership, supervision, and guidance to Leads and Analysts.
•  Serves as the coordination point for escalation, issue management, and timeline delivery for escalated Cybersecurity issues.
•  Provides direct support to the engineers, assessors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of services and deliverables.
•  Manage workstreams, prepare status reports, and interface with stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution are aligned with defined objectives.
•  Identify and recommend operational improvements to the client, drawing on SOC operational experience and industry-specific knowledge of risks.
•  Responsible for overall adherence and attainment of all defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
•  Prepare and deliver content for weekly/biweekly operational reports and operational status meetings.
•  Demonstrate ability to manage and motivate multiple project teams in multiple geo-locations.
•  Ability to work independently under pressure and adjust to changing focus and priorities.

Required Skills / Qualifications
•  12+ years of related experience, knowledge in emerging technologies, or relevant field, with a primary emphasis on IT and Cybersecurity services.
•  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Engineering Management, or related discipline
•  Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations
•  Must have 3 years of experience using market-leading Security Operations Center (SOC) tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
•  Must have 3 years of experience leading teams of cybersecurity professionals and mentoring Shift Leads and Analysts delivering services in a 24x7 environment.
•  Must have or be eligible to obtain CISSP, CISA, CISM, or GIAC certification.
