POSITION: Cybersecurity Analyst - Jr. 
LOCATION: Albany, GA
STATUS: Contingent on Contract Award
CLEARANCE: Active Secret Clearance Required
TRAVEL: Up to 25%

DESCRIPTION: 
Plans and implements security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data from loss and service interruptions. Analyzes and documents security risks, breaches, and other cybersecurity incidents and the damage they cause. Develops and implements a network disaster recovery plan, and oversees the monitoring of the computer networks for security issues. Installs and operates security software and measures to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will: 
Support Security Operations by conducting security assessments of application and database scripts, identifying operations and methods vulnerable to exploits. Analyze vulnerability database scanning results. Prioritize Critical and High-level vulnerabilities. Create POA&Ms and remediate. Support the ATO process by assisting ISSO and CST teams in following NIST 800-37 Risk Management Framework best practices, activities, and documentation/work products.

Support the PMW 230 ISSMs by serving as the appointed cybersecurity representative for reviewing and approving assigned PMW 230 System Access Authorization Requests DD Form 2875 in accordance with the United States Marine Corps Enterprise Cybersecurity Manual 007 “Resource Access Guide” Version 3.0, September 15, 2015

•  Develop and execute Government approved security policies, plans, and procedures
•  implement data network security measures
•  Evaluate programs against Federal and commercial regulations and guidance (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
•  May monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to protect data systems and databases from unauthorized users.
•  Determine causes of security breaches and researches, recommends, and implements changes to procedures to protect data from future violations.
•  Assist in educating users on security procedures.
•  Analyze and defines security requirements for MLS issues.
•  Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to MLS requirements.
•  Guide effort to gather and organize technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena.
•  Perform risk analyses which also include risk assessment.
•  Develop security standards

Required Skills / Qualifications
•  4+ years of related experience
•  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
•  Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations

Required Security Clearance: Active Secret
