DESCRIPTION: 
The (Contingent) Cybersecurity Specialist IV Professional is responsible, with limited oversight from Senior Level Cybersecurity professionals, for maintaining and managing all aspects of a System’s ATO package while also having the ability to multi-task and lead assigned Cybersecurity related projects. 

As a Cybersecurity Specialist IV, you will: 
Experience creating, revising, and updating Information Technology and Cybersecurity Standards and policies. 
Review program engineering artifacts to ensure compliance with all DoD/DoN Cybersecurity requirements to include DoD Cybersecurity Test and Evaluation Guidebook requirements. 
Participate in Program Reviews to ensure all Cybersecurity requirements are met.
Validate penetration tests and vulnerability assessments using the approved DoD vulnerability scanner, Defense Information systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implantation Guides, Security Requirements Guides, and other DoD/DoN software assurance security tools. 
Validate operating systems and network devices' security configuration in accordance with DISA-approved security technical implementation guides and Security Requirement Guides. 
Validate Cybersecurity assessment procedures, security audits, and risk analysis. 
Analyze, develop, and update Program Protection Plans, Cybersecurity Strategies, and other security-related acquisition documentation in support of programs. 
Ensure that security-related provisions of the system acquisition documents meet all identified security needs. 
Validate mitigation strategies for DoD information systems. 
Prepare Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts and Memoranda of Agreement with system owners for interface and networking implementations. 
Develop Cybersecurity related acquisition documents. 
Provide RMF Support in accordance with the Navy’s RMF Process Guide. 
Identify Common Criteria and National Information Assurance Partnership certified technologies. 
Validate Program Cybersecurity products in use by programs are in compliance with DoD/DoN requirements. 
Participate in FLTCYBERCOM Navy Authorization Official RMF related events. 

Experience:
Required Skills / Qualifications
At least ten years of engineering, computer science, or information technology experience including at least eight years of Cybersecurity experience. 
Possess DoD approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Manager, Level II in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M or Certified Information Security Manager and are currently a Fully Qualified Navy Validator. 
Demonstrated competency serving independently as a Navy Validator with experience performing Navy Validator activities for more than one Security Authorization Package under the RMF 
Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, computer science, mathematics or related or High School Diploma with at least eighteen years of relevant experience

Required Security Clearance: Active Secret
