DESCRIPTION:

The (Contingent) Program Manager oversees all activities associated with the contract to ensure cost, schedule, performance, and contract administration requirements are met. The Program Manager will interact with the Government customer and be responsible for overall program cost, schedule, and technical performance. The Program Manager will be available to plan, direct, and control the overall management and operational functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, customer management, schedule management, financial management, coordination, personnel leadership, and mentorship in a high-paced and dynamic environment.

 

As a Program Manager IV, you will:

·         Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.

·         Manage teams on contract support personnel at multiple locations.

·         Maintain and manage the customer interface at the senior levels of the customer organization.

·         Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensure conformance with program task schedules and costs.

·         Develop and enforce work standards.

·         Provide quality assurance, communicates goals, objectives, and policies.

·         Provide financial management and project administration.

·         Supervise and directs staff daily.

 

Required Skills / Qualifications

·         At least ten years of progressively more responsible experience directing and managing professional services programs. This experience must include one or more technology areas including, strategic planning, concept development and requirements analysis, systems design, engineering and integration, test and evaluation and integrated logistics support, as well as acquisition and life cycle management in the systems engineering fields

·         Master’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or Bachelor’s Degree within Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with at least fifteen years of relevant experience

·         Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations
