DESCRIPTION: 

The (Contingent)  Instructional Systems Specialist III plans and develops organization-wide technology-enhanced and blended operational training and/or performance support materials where the subject matter or methodology is particularly difficult and analyzes strategic business objectives of the organization and recommends education policy and standards to meet long and short-range strategic business goals,

As an Instructional Systems Specialist III, you will: 

•  Serve as Lead Instructional Systems Specialist developing programs of instruction in occupational specialties or fields. 

•  Design and develop effective instructional programs, training literature, and measurement instruments for military and civilian students. 

•  Develop and implement projects designed to establish improved procedures and baselines for the technical training process with minimal guidance. 

•  Create new master instructional plans and modify existing plans and conduct task analyses for the training programs. 

•  Work with subject matter experts and existing course materials, designing and developing the instructional analysis, paper-based instructional materials, accompanying support materials such as workbooks, and instructor guides. 

•  Perform instructional analysis to identify training performance objectives; be involved in each phase of the analysis as a quality assurance subject matter expert.

•  Generate or modify multi-media and computer-based training plans with assistance from other team subject matter experts while developing the accompanying lessons that use the media. 

Required Skills / Qualifications

•  At least six years of relevant experience in Instructional Systems or related field

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Systems, or related field or High School Diploma and thirteen years of relevant experience

•  Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations

Required Security Clearance: Active Secret
