DESCRIPTION:

Cask is seeking an Air Delivery SME to support Infantry Combat Equipment (PM ICE), Air and Amphibious Systems (Air-Amphib), Marine Corps Systems Command.  

The Air Delivery SME will support the Amphibious Systems team which provides materiel solutions that enable reconnaissance Marines to gain access to the battlespace via littorals, collect subsurface hydrographic data, conduct amphibious reconnaissance, and shape the battlespace for follow-on landing teams. Additionally, the Air and Amphibious Systems team manage the life-cycle sustainment of aerial and amphibious equipment for the Marine Corps.

 As an Air Delivery Subject Matter Expert, you will:

•  Conduct market research and assess the potential for integration of new technology into USMC air delivery programs;

•  Coordinate; Execute; and Draft summary reports for testing of new air delivery equipment.

•  Draft; Review; and Provide recommendations for test plans;

•  Perform parachute rigging in support of test drops.

•  Conduct physical configuration audits on-air delivery systems.

•  Draft new and update existing technical drawings;

•  Review and making recommendations on safety assessments;

•  Draft; Review; and Edit engineering change proposals;

•  Investigate and draft reports on parachute and air delivery equipment malfunctions due to material failures.

•  Draft and review plans for; Provide recommendations for; and Participate in supportability demonstrations; Validate and verify technical manuals; and Modify fielded assets.

Required Skills / Qualifications

•  Current and ability to maintain a Federal Aviation Administration approved Master Parachute Rigger Certification / Rating.

•  Pass and maintain medical clearance to participate in military free fall (MFF) operations and testing.

•  Current and ability to maintain a United States Parachuting Association “C” Parachutist License.

•  Ability to pass and maintain a NACI or equivalent background investigation

Preferred

•  Formally trained and qualified on the 2K and 10K Joint Precision Airdrop Systems through US Army or industry equivalent.

•  Formally trained and qualified at USMC Multi-Mission Parachutist Course.

•  Formally trained and qualified as a PHAOS oxygen technician.

•  Formally trained and qualified at US Army Airdrop Load Inspector Certification Course or equivalent.

•  DAWIA Level 2 Certification in Program Management, Logistics, Test and Evaluation and/or SPRDE
