DESCRIPTION: 
The Senior Financial Analyst  will be responsible for formulating, defending, and executing a wide range of financial duties to accomplish critical objectives in direct support of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Program Manager, Medium Heavy Tactical Vehicles (PM MHTV) and associated portfolio of vehicle and trailer systems.  The Senior Financial Analyst will lead a team of analysts and work with Program Management to ensure the overall mission and goals of the Government client are accomplished with financial efficiency.  The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management and analysis, operational management, program management, budgeting, accounting, coordination, and personnel leadership.

As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will: 
Work with Program Management and Client leadership to create a financial management strategy and budget to help the client succeed.
Oversee a team of analysts to formulate and implement the budget, cost estimates, pricing analysis, financial reporting and monitoring procedures.
Monitor the complete budget cycle to ensure proper execution and receipt of funds. 
Develop briefs, trend analysis, controls, metrics, statistics, and reports to facilitate continuous financial analysis and monitoring in accordance with requirements.
Provide expertise, recommendations, and industry best practices to support continuous improvements and help identify financial risks.
Conduct analyses, report financial risks, and advise the Government client on strategies to mitigate the impact of financial risks on the program.
Prepare Funding Action Requests (FARs) and Procurement Request (PR) packages and funding documents.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) exhibits and briefing packages.

Required Skills / Qualifications
BA/BS Business, Management, Analytics, Math, or other related discipline.
8+ years of related work experience, preferably in DoD Budget and Financial Management duties. 
Experience leading high functioning, multi-discipline teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Strong communication and organization skills with a team-oriented mindset.
Military experience, preferably USMC and with vehicle platform experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
