The Graphic Illustrator creates pictorial illustrations for use in technical manuals, product specifications, and maintenance documents. You will utilize a variety of graphic files, photo images, and sketches to create illustrations. They will also be able to produce 3-D, cutaway, or exploded views of objects. The Graphic Illustrator should be familiar and proficient with graphic illustration software like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canvas, Corel Draw and AutoCAD. The Graphic Illustrator will be proficient in multiple competencies relevant to their role and be able to work independently within established procedures in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

As the Graphics Illustrator, you will: 

• Maintain a working knowledge of customer products.

• Maintain a working knowledge of publication deliverables.

• Maintain, distribute, and file many forms of reference materials and technical inputs received from the customer.

• Use of procedures, records, tools, equipment, facilities, others as appropriate.

• Identify obstacles to production, respond to changing priorities and adjust accordingly.

• Follow-up on all customer inputs as needed.

• Experience with illustration development tools.

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 3+ years of progressive related experience

• Must be organized and have a self-starter attitude

• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision

• Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information

• Exceptional attention to detail and thorough approach to follow-through on all tasks
