DESCRIPTION:

The Project Engineer directly supports the JS J6 (DDC5I) Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation (CIAV). 

As a Project Engineer, you will:

·       Perform activities and coordination for Information Technology services plans, data collection efforts, reporting on phases of assessments, and project demonstration events, in support of CIAV assessment.

·       Lead network engineers, system administrators and cybersecurity SMEs in accomplishment of project objectives.

·       Conduct operations with and utilize coalition networks, the Combined Federated Battle Laboratories Network, Coalition Test Evaluation Environment and Coalition Verification and Validation Environment.

·       Lead lab-based demonstrations and events through coordination with participants and operating the as-built network environment.

·       Adapt STANAGs, MILSTDs and Industry Standards to C2 and C5ISR systems.

·       Conduct planning and assessments of mission-based interoperability in a coalition environment to identify materiel and non-material information sharing gaps and identifying recommendations to mitigate those gaps.

Required Skills / Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.

·       Minimum 10 years supporting IT and C2 operations.

·       Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work

·       Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems

·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team
