Position Summary:
The FSB Service Desk Technician (Junior) is responsible for the initial triage, follow up, communication, routing, and escalation of all tickets submitted to the FSB Service Desk.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and handle requests for service, following agreed procedures.
- Promptly allocates calls as appropriate.
- Log incidents and service requests and maintain relevant records:
o Identify and classify incident types and service interruptions
o Record incidents cataloging them by symptom and resolution
- Act under guidance to record and track reliability data for your services
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
· Perform initial troubleshooting and routine support for FSB Systems.
· Carry out defined tasks as established by supervisors and technical leads.
Experience:
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study plus (4) years of experience
• DoD Secret Clearance
• US Citizenship
