Key Role:
Provide subject matter expertise to install, configure, operate, maintain virtual server systems and their supporting network architecture. Experience in one or more software-defined networking technologies utilizing VXLAN or Geneve protocol. Knowledgeable of cloud service offerings from Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services with an understanding of supporting provisioning in those environments.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline; or 4+ years of work/military experience in an equivalent technical field.
- Required Certifications: CompTIA Security +, VMware VCTA or Equivalent
- Experience with virtualization using VMware or similar software platforms
- Knowledge of IT networking, switching, and routing; capable of understanding theory and engineering of a route/switch network
- General knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation System Administration
- Secret clearance required
- BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications (Not Required):
- Experience with ITIL / Scrum methodology
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Planner, SharePoint
- Experience in working with the Marine Corps
