JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Operations Analyst

Location: Pentagon

Level of Experience: 10+ years

Clearance:  Active Top Secret / SCI Required

Start Date:  Immediate Hire

The Operations Analyst shall provide support to the Joint Staff, C4 Cyber Directorate (J6) to streamline information-flow, improve business processes, improve cyber defense capabilities and interoperability requirements and assist with the overall quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. The candidate should have experience in policy and planning, and the development and implementation of analytic methodologies and approaches. This position is located at the Pentagon, Washington, DC.

Specific Tasks

·   Provide technical and analytical support to produce Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents, information papers, and presentations in support of joint C4/ cyber capability development

·   Coordinate with team members to assist with providing support to the analysis and management of Cyber C2 and Cyber capability, programs and systems

·   Provide interoperability, integration and sustainability analysis support to requirements capabilities, Key Performance Parameters (KPPs), architectures and other documentation

·   Provide technical, analytical expertise to consolidate, analyze, and maintain J6 documents, publications, policies, guidance, instructions, and directives

·   Provide analysis and support to various initiatives as directed to operate more effectively and efficiently

·   Possess the management skills, knowledge and experience to facilitate and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Joint environment

 

Experience

·   10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years of military experience,

·   Experience in policy and planning; development and implementation of analytic methodologies and approaches; experience with Joint, COCOM, or Service HQ staff functions

·   Strong military operational background and experience required

·   Experience in written and verbal communications with senior military officers and senior government employees/executives

Education

·   BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other comparable technical degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years related experience; or BA/BS from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years related experience

·   IAM/IAT Level III Certification per DoD 8570.01-M (i.e. CISSP, CASP, CISM, CISA, etc.)

·   ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED
