JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: System Administrator (eMASS)

Location: Pentagon

Level of Experience: 3-5 years

Clearance:  Active TS / SCI

The System Administrator will identify and implement methods to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. You will use enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) skills to design and maintain secure systems for a DoD client. The eMASS System Administrator will help create solutions that will stand up to the most advanced Cyber threats.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·   Participate in the design, engineering, integration, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, review and administration of the infrastructure, hardware and software required to manage the security and risk posture of a DoD network and resources

·   Identify the tools and techniques required to translate customer’s needs and future goals into a plan to enable secure and effective solutions

·   Utilize a critical approach to network design by providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of Cybersecurity needs

·   Work with a team to implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) procedures in the existing eMASS system

·   Serve as the primary point of contact for eMASS users and Combatant Command (CCMD) eMASS local system administrators and users

·   Update, maintain and post to the eMASS playbook, including documenting all processes and procedures associated with day-to-day duties of maintaining and managing eMASS accounts

·   Document step-by-step procedures / process guides

 

·   Education and Experience:

·   Bachelor’s degree | Computer Science, Cybersecurity or Information Technology (preferred)

·   IAT Level II

·   CISSP and CAP (preferred)

·   3-5 years of task related experience with lookup tables and eMASS communication, as well as package management tasks of control review, POA&M

·   ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI REQUIRED
