The Systems Engineer position will support the Marine Corps Systems Command (Quantico, VA).

Key Duties

Serve as a subject matter expert, providing test and evaluation know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex systems.  

 

Conduct analysis of Technical Review Data Packages in support of Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) including System Requirements Reviews, System Functional Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Program Readiness Reviews and Post-Implementation Reviews. 

 

Develop a plan documentation such as Test and Evaluation Master Plan and Software Test Plan. 

 

Plan and conduct test and evaluation activities to ensure system requirements are met. 

 

Evaluate, recommend, and implement test tools and strategies, and provide input to the decomposition of requirements, as required, on Engineering Change Proposals in support of Engineering Review Boards.

 

Provide input and recommendations on technical matters and briefing information in all Engineering IPTs and engineering Review Boards (ERB).

 

Support the Lead Systems Engineer in reviewing and analyzing data provided by the Systems Integrator deliverables and provide recommended engineering process improvements for action at the project level.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline plus one (1) year of related experience; depending upon the area of technology, a combination of vocational and/or military certifications plus three (3) to five (5) years’ experience may be substituted for a degree, or 5 years of related experience.

 

Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure and AWS.
