POSITION: Risk Management Framework (RMF) Validator

DESCRIPTION: Cask is looking for a Risk Management Framework (RMF) Validator to support the Marine Corps Logistics Command. The ideal candidate should be a USMC Certified Validator with four to five years of demonstrated experience performing RMF and/or DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) validation services.
Required Skills / Qualifications
• Provide validator/auditing and consultation services
• Provide independent verification and validation of the Marine Corps system’s security controls and safeguards designed through the security engineering process
• Validation of applicable Cybersecurity controls for assigned Marine Corps system, to include developing the appropriate test procedures, executing the test procedures and documenting security testing results
• Perform the requisite preparatory steps and conditions, perform the actual validation steps, compare the actual results with the expected results, and analyze the differences for impact and risk
• Perform CVSS Scoring via MCCAST v2, develop the Security Assessment Report (SAR) and other Validation support requirements as required by DoD and USMC policies and guidance
• Use the Remedy trouble ticket system to monitor and complete Cybersecurity requests
• Familiarity with automated tools including Marine Corps Certification and Accreditation Support Tool (MCCAST), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), STIG viewer, DISA Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) compliance checker, etc.
Experience
• Minimum of 4-5 years performing RMF and/or DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) validation services
• IAM Level II certification to perform cybersecurity functions in accordance with DoD 8570.01- M, IA Workforce Improvement Program
• Authorized in accordance with MARADMIN 185/12 and MCBUL 5239 Marine Corps Certification and Accreditation Process (MCCAP) Validator Requirements
