Cask is the prime contractor with an open, funded position on a 4 ½ year federal contract.
The engineer will lead the effort to virtualize 13 data centers in preparation for moving to a cloud-based operation.

The ideal candidate would have 10 years’ experience (including Department of Defense), a Bachelors degree, VMWare certifications or other virtualization/cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, Security Plus, MCSA, MCSE, and experience implementing and configuring a medium-sized data center. A current Secret clearance is a must.
Education, Certifications, and Expertise:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science; Engineering or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical training; or work/military experience
Required Certifications:
- Security Plus CE Certification
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)/ Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification
- Experience implementing and configuring a medium-sized data center
- Experience with virtual systems using VMware or other virtualization/cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
- Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper/Pulse, McAfee/Intel, F5, NetScout and other capabilities required to replicate an Installation Processing Node (IPN) and a Tactical Processing Node (TPN) in the MCEN or other government networks
- General knowledge of Microsoft Windows, System Administration
- Experience in IT support field required with an emphasis on multiple Operating Systems and server administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills - Event log analysis, performance tuning, backup and restore, and security monitoring.
Specific Skills:
- Technical, engineering, research and development, and tactical T&E services (5 years)
- VMware virtualization and related technologies (3 years)
- Experienced with implementing server and desktop virtualization solutions, including various replication and disaster recovery technologies skills in other supporting enterprise technologies.
- Skills in Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix, and cloud services are desirable.
- Experience and expertise in work related to C4I systems integration and test, data collection (5 years)
- Architecture development and analysis of C4I products to support the overall engineering and technical support services (3 years)
- Experience in DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) for defense applications as it applies to SoS testing is beneficial.
- Program Analyst support (3 years)
- Configuration management library support (3 years)
- Experience in test analysis support for C2 systems (3 years)
- Cybersecurity experience in creating, analyzing, testing, and exploiting vulnerabilities in military tactical C2 systems (5 years)
- Experience and expert IP base networking knowledge. Networking experience in USMC tactical and Navy Afloat network is highly preferred (3 years)
Active Secret security clearance required.
