Mechanical Engineer - Entech Instruments LLC. – Henderson, NV
Responsibilities
- Create 3D CAD models and drawings in Solidworks to meet project objectives
- Create 2D drawings to support both in house and external manufacturing of components
- Create and modify Bills-of-Materials in Solidworks, and interface with Production and Inventory Control Departments to ensure information and assemblies are updated
- Perform QA inspections on fabricated parts, especially while in the design, prototyping, and pilot stages of development.
- Prototype, build, integrate, test and qualify robotics, robotic modules, and other mechanical/electrical assemblies to validate 3D designs
- Create & maintain technical documentation (assembly, specifications, reports, preventative maintenance)
- Interface with other departments to ensure internal and external customer requirements are met.
- Coordinate activities within R&D Department using Project Management software.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2-4 years of mechanical or CAD design using SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of commonly used materials.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Skilled in time management, prioritizing, and managing changing priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
- Commitment to participating in professional development
Education
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
