Mechanical Engineer - Entech Instruments LLC. – Henderson, NV

Responsibilities

  • Create 3D CAD models and drawings in Solidworks to meet project objectives
  • Create 2D drawings to support both in house and external manufacturing of components
  • Create and modify Bills-of-Materials in Solidworks, and interface with Production and Inventory Control Departments to ensure information and assemblies are updated
  • Perform QA inspections on fabricated parts, especially while in the design, prototyping, and pilot stages of development.
  • Prototype, build, integrate, test and qualify robotics, robotic modules, and other mechanical/electrical assemblies to validate 3D designs
  • Create & maintain technical documentation (assembly, specifications, reports, preventative maintenance)
  • Interface with other departments to ensure internal and external customer requirements are met.
  • Coordinate activities within R&D Department using Project Management software.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2-4 years of mechanical or CAD design using SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of commonly used materials.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience.
  • Skilled in time management, prioritizing, and managing changing priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Commitment to participating in professional development


Education

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401K, PTO and end of year bonus.
