Position Purpose

Assisting the engineering department with prototyping, samples, testing, tooling, maintenance (equipment and building), and integration of new programs and equipment to production.

Engineering prototypes
Engineering samples
Special projects
Tooling evaluation, implementation, and maintenance
Assistance in testing

Qualifications (Education | Certification | Experience)

High School Diploma or GED
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, listening)
General PC skills with MS Office software knowledge at basic
Machine shop operation
Automotive and racing interest a plus
Ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers
Ability to create and maintain record retention and retrieval systems appropriate for position
Years of experience in related field: 2+

Environment & Physical Requirements

Environment: Inside/Office | Warehouse / Light Industrial / Outside
Physical activity: Capable of lifting 50 lbs (75 lb team lift), standing and sitting
