Keel Labs is looking for a talented and motivated individual to support the growth and operation of our Research and Development team at our Morrisville office.   The Application Development Lead will act as a liaison between our R&D and Business Development/ Marketing  teams.  This position will facilitate the creation and oversight of critical support including product application, problem solving, and decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to develop existing and potential applications related to apparel industry and beyond

  • Plan and manage performance benchmarking tests of Kelsun, Keel Labs proprietary yarn and document the results 

  • Collaborates with Sales/Business Development team  to scope technical solutions to address technical challenges

  • Cascade customer feedback to internal product specifications

  • Recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS, with MS preferred, in physical/life sciences, engineering, or related discipline

  • Minimum 4 years experience working preferably within biomaterial development 

  • Demonstrated success in people & project management

  • Able to effectively communicate in both technical and non-technical details to internal and external stakeholders

  • Self motivated, adaptable, and detail oriented

  • Thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing, and often challenging environment
