Materials Assistant

Keel Labs is looking for a motivated, creative, and collaborative individual to support operations, marketing and sales at our Morrisville office. The Materials Assistant will aid with the materials management, inventory, and product management.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management of samples including organization, processing shipments to partners, and maintaining accurate records and archives

  • Maintaining up to date product database

  • Ensure all fabric books/samples are up to date and organized ahead of presentations or events

  • Work across teams including business development, marketing, and R&D to ensure the creative and commercial vision is translated into the product 

  • Assist with sustainability aspect of materials making sure the data is always accurate for the team to reference 

  • Support the operations team in liaising with vendors in preparation for production

  • Identify standard fiber, yarn, and textile constructions for various products 

Required Skills:

  • A knack for detail oriented organization 

  • Ability to communicate across multiple departments

  • Textile construction knowledge

  • Existing knowledge of Yarn
