AlgiKnit is looking for a passionate, highly motivated Marketing Manager to help drive our marketing strategy. This individual will lead marketing programs, foster customer relationships, and advance brand building. They stay up-to-date with culture and marketing trends, and communicate effectively. Responsibilities:

  • Work with management to translate company goals into actionable items and develop multi year marketing strategies

  • Build on new and existing marketing programs to support marketing objective across multiple channels and segments  

  • Evaluate the impact of current and future marketing strategies in achieving their objectives by establishing KPI's and data analysis strategies

  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate partner insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications 

  • Identify and partner with creative teams and other internal and external agencies and vendors 

  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish driving collaboration between teams and leveraging the right internal processes 

  • Establish and implement new structures and processes for the marketing department

  • Lead, grow, and train the marketing team

  • Work closely with internal and external partners to execute milestone-relevant announcements, launches, and events
  • Identify unexplored white space for brand development and bespoke marketing opportunities
  • Lead quarterly marketing calendar planning in alignment with R&D and product development

Required Skills:

  • Self starter with excellent communication skills

  • Experience building marketing programs and reporting on the results 

  • Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great copy 

  • Strong project management skills 

  • Strong problem solving and metric driven thinking 

  • Experience as a systems thinker with a keen eye for problem solving
  • Interpersonal skills; experience working across different teams to inform and produce content

  • A strong attention to detail in both written and visual contexts

  • Highly comfortable with ambiguity and a changing environment 

  • Highly creative individual with enthusiasm to conceptualize and implement programs that are disruptive while maintaining brand elevation

  • Ability to engage, connect and build an audience across multiple channels

  • Experience in art direction or graphic design
  • An understanding of current media landscape and best practice for media relations
  • Experience with the following platforms: All Paid Ads (Facebook, Google PPC); Pay Per Click; Google Adwords; Google Analytics; AdRoll; Instagram Paid Ads (Facebook PPC)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or similar

  • 3+ years of marketing management experience, 6+ years industry experience
