This role includes serving as a hands-on team member responsible for performing and reviewing transactions which includes but not limited to Assets, Liabilities, Equity, and Allocations.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will…
Fulfill all duties, including journal entries, reconciliations, and other assigned tasks, in a timely manner to comply with the close calendar, checklists, and other due dates as assigned.
Assist with an accurate and timely month end close by providing support to the accounting close process.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis for assigned accounts, identifying, and resolving any differences within the close period.
Perform Reconciliations in an organized, accurate, and complete manner.
Support the external audit processes, working directly with the external auditors and internal team members from Technical Accounting and Accounting Operations.
Perform 1st level reviewer to various balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the Staff Accountant.
Serve as an Administrator for Concur including the review of all corporate card transactions to ensure proper coding and processing in NetSuite.
Assist with monitoring the need for business process improvements and assist with the implementation, design processes, procedures, and reporting enhancements to improve financial and operational processes.
Work with and support the accounting team in day-to-day activities, special projects, and workflow process improvements. Support overall department goals and objectives. Backup to the Controller.
Who You Are
Over 5 years experience in accounting, preferably in financial reporting at a US public company, and have or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
Full understanding of account in accordance with GAAP is necessary.
Detail-oriented, self-directed and able to work remotely and independently to effectively complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Experience with NetSuite or other big ERP system preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
Flexible to meet changing priorities and the ability to prioritize workload to achieve on time & accurate results.
