What You Will Do

HODINKEE is looking for a full time Sr. Product Manager to lead and build a world-class product experience for our users.  As a Sr. Product Manager over Shop, your scope of responsibility will span across our entire commercial operation including Hodinkee Shop and Crown & Caliber. At HODINKEE, we’re constantly evolving our retail experience to bring the most interesting products to our customers. As a Senior PM over Shop, you’ll be tasked with understanding our customers’ needs and ensuring business requirements are met, all while aligning with key leaders from across the organization. 

If you’re our ideal candidate, you can work closely with design and engineering to drive key initiatives to completion through discovery workshops, data analysis, UX research, testing, and release management. In the many decisions you face, you’ll look to data to come up with the solution for the user. You’ll be developing business cases to understand the "why" behind product initiatives and empathize deeply with our user base, translating their needs into our next generation of features and services.

You can just as easily synthesize a product concept, designs, business case and requirements into a deck for the CEO as you can write epics, user stories and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.  You provide clear, unambiguous requirements and instill confidence with engineering due to your attention to detail and deep understanding of how the product works and can be improved.


  • Help drive strategy and the product roadmap for the Shop Journey Team

  • Work to launch key initiatives including explorations around inventory-less models, consistent branding across multiple storefronts, support retail, and more

  • Collaborate closely with lead engineer and designer as journey team leaders

  • Work across departments with subject matter experts, data scientists, and other PMs to build new feature sets and enhance existing ones

  • Develop solutions that balance user needs, product strategy, business goals, and technical considerations across different surfaces (mobile, web, etc.)

  • Build strong and effective relationships with colleagues across product, engineering, marketing, business, development, finance, e-comm, customer service and other departments

  • Share responsibility for building, measuring, and reporting against fundamental KPIs for your journey team helping drive business objectives like revenue and ROI

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of increasing consumer Product Management responsibilities showing strong experience in e-commerce, marketplace, auctions, and retail

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in diverse settings and projects for B2C businesses – whether leading a multifaceted team in high quality product delivery, or getting executive buy-in for your product vision

  • Experience and passion for building products from scratch (0 to 1)

  • Passion for the watch community

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills -- comfortable using tools like Google Analytics, Domo, Snowflake, to examine and optimize product performance, and build business cases

  • Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
