About the role
The Senior Director of Growth Marketing will be responsible for full funnel acquisition and retention strategies for Hodinkee and Crown & Caliber. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert on lifecycle marketing for a DTC business, and all of the tactics that support these efforts. Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer (CBO), this role will join the Senior Leadership Team and work to accomplish business goals through efficient planning, strategic execution, and continuous optimization across Paid and Owned channels.
In this role, you will...
You will be a Senior Leader on the marketing team and will be responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of programs that drive pipeline and retention to exceed company targets. You will also manage a team across CRM, Paid Digital and Social.
As a growth marketing expert this role will define best practices, develop campaigns, and manage to budget to ensure successful business outcomes
This position will work closely across functions within the organization including the wider Marketing team, Merchandising, Product and Finance to develop integrated campaigns and initiatives across multiple channels including Paid (PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates, Display) and Owned (Email, SMS, Push Notifications)
Foster a data-driven environment, building the data and martech infrastructure to support an excellent growth marketing program. Work closely with the Data team to understand funnel analytics, develop an iterate an attribution model, and ensure profitability of each of the channels
Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of demand generation campaigns on the top / bottom line; leverage quantitative skills to interpret data and gain insights that then translate into actionable changes; identify where sales and marketing technologies present an opportunity to increase the effectiveness. Build and manage channel budgets.
Own and manage the implementation, usage, and effectiveness of marketing automation platform (HubSpot) Understand and implement best practices to drive inbound lead generation; experienced in a digital-first approach
Lead, manage and execute SEO strategy
Define lead quality, optimize marketing processes, and implement best practices to improve conversion
Brief and collaborate with HODINKEE Creative, Marketing, and Editorial teams to concept, create, launch and optimize ongoing brand media, including but not limited to Paid Social campaigns. Ensure that campaigns reflect Brand and Marketing priorities and support key Business initiatives (eg. launches, top tier projects, etc.)
Work closely with agency to stay up-to-date on new and innovative paid media executions, targeting capabilities, programmatic and personalization to drive improvement across media channels
Define and orchestrate the many ways HODINKEE can leverage content for media purposes
Review weekly and monthly reports to assess and optimize performance, provide recommendations to the CBO
Who you are
Collaborative team player, detail oriented and strong communicator
Experienced in setting strategy and managing agencies for support
Deep understanding of paid media mix, media buying, campaign management and optimization strategies - both real-time and long-term - within multiple ad management platforms (ex. Facebook Ads Manager, YouTube Ads, Google Ads for GDN, etc.)
Proven track record on acquisition and retention campaigns that achieve brand and business goals
Experience and confidence presenting data-supported recommendations to all levels of management
Stay current on media trends and changing landscape
Skills and Experience
10+ years of Digital Marketing and CRM experience
Experience working cross-functionally within an organization
Ecommerce background required
Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S
