Presidio Medical is developing neuromodulation technology with the potential to transform the field of neuromodulation with an initial focus on treating chronic pain. Presidio is led by a highly experienced team with a successful track record of medical device commercialization with deep expertise in pain management and neurostimulation. The expertise has allowed Presidio to develop a comprehensive design and development plan to move quickly through prototype builds, animal studies, and clinical use. Enabled by this prior activity, initial clinical work has demonstrated therapeutic efficacy with exceptional outcomes. The team is now working on the next generation system for further clinical work and to develop Presidio’s commercial system.

 

Job Summary:

As Executive Assistant, you will provide support to CEO and Executive Leaders by managing complex schedules, supporting physician and clinician key opinion leader communications/meetings/relationships, and confidential investor meetings. You will also be responsible for maintaining agendas/notes for key meetings (including presentations), crafting internal and external communications, expense management, and assisting with domestic and international travel arrangements.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build a vital partnership with the Presidio executive team, anticipate their needs, and provide high-level, tailored executive support to CEO and Executive Leaders.
  • Perform confidential executive administrative functions for the CEO, including complex administrative and project coordination for executives and senior management.
  • Manage schedules and executive priorities in an organized and efficient way. The ability to understand key meetings and priorities in line with the executives and communicate quickly and thoroughly in an ever-changing environment is key.
  • Support coordination, preparation, and planning activities for BOD meetings. This includes scheduling and confirming BOD attendance, compiling, and delivering the BOD Book, assisting in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations, and ensuring that the meeting room, equipment and refreshments are prepared in advance.
  • Proactively execute administrative activities, with precision, a high attention to detail, organization, and process as well as the ability to juggle multiple deadlines at a time.
  • Facilitate key staff meetings by structuring agendas, taking notes, and distributing minutes.
  • Work closely with the associates within Presidio Medical to create a constructive and productive working environment. Act as an extension of the CEO office.
  • Comply with Presidio Medical’s quality system requirements as well as any applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Manage office facilities, inventory and order/stock snacks as needed.
  • Manage weekly corporate lunches.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations, policies, and work practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting senior executives.
  • Experience working in the biotechnology or life science field is a plus.
  • Excellent prioritization and organization skills to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
  • General understanding of the capital markets, fundraising, and investor relations
  • Team player that can easily handle changing priorities.

 

Knowledge/skills/Abilities:

  • Exhibit excellent judgment and discretion to work with confidential information.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Proficiency in commonly used software and technologies, such as video conferencing, and collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Slack, etc)
  • Strong work ethic with a positive “can do” attitude, integrity and accountability.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal) with internal and external players, ability to communicate proactively, effectively, and clearly.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
