Job Summary:

The ideal candidate for this position holds a deep understanding of product life cycle, New Product Introduction, S&OP, MRP Management and underlying production planning requirements. This key position optimizes sales and inventory through an astute knowledge of historical trends and collaborative alignment with the team. This position coordinates forecast, sourcing, and supply/demand planning through working closely with department heads to plan executable inventory levels and identify improvement opportunities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute updated planning process with effective automated reporting to ensure accurate and timely forecasts.
  • Manage and execute the purchasing lifecycle, including placing purchase orders, follow up, material receipt and reconciliation.
  • Develop and foster strong supplier relationships, proactively resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver impactful presentations to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making
  • Ensure vendor clarity on future monthly forecasts in compliance with vendor agreements.
  • Validate and meet monthly inventory of supply and packaging needs and facilitate reduction of excess inventory.
  • Identify key deviations from the prior month and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Identify and maintain optimal inventory levels for newness launches and replenishment flows.
  • Identify key category sales trends and shifts in pattern performance.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to execute deliverables and implement new objectives as needed.
  • Maintain vendor accountability through regular review of open balances and make recommendations for amendments, as necessary.
  • Facilitate the new assortment plan process with product development.
  • Provide analytics for seasonal launches and delivery reports.
  • Track all inbound shipments working with freight forwarders.
  • Item card management to ensure accurate information for sales and product development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain planning function, leveraging data analytics, process optimization, and technological advancements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering professional development.
  • Comply with Presidio Medical’s quality system requirements as well as any applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations, policies, and work practices.

Qualification Requirements:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other finance related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years related experience in finance, or related field, with progressively increasing responsibility.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with expert level knowledge of advanced planning system
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, purchasing and inventory planning.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of customer relations management.
  • Excels in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
