Job Summary:

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing all finished goods shipments to clinic study sites, vendors or customers including preparing all required documentation for shipments.  Performs and oversees the processing, packaging, and storage of materials, finished goods and floor stock. Manages and facilitates movement/transactions of finished goods, materials and floor stock. Responsible for day-to-day facilities management. Has strong knowledge and acquaintance
with inventory management and shipping/receiving logistics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Shipping/Facility Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for receiving and processing all incoming materials, components and packages, including field returns.
  • Prepares and package all product orders, material order and returns to vendors. Completes all necessary documentation for shipments, including shipment checklists, packing slips, commercial invoices and/or bill of lading.
  • Responsible for coordinating/shipping domestic and international packages utilizing FedEx, UPS or Freight Forwarder; as necessary. Maintain good relationship with logistics vendors.
  • Fulfill any internal material or product requests and transact inventory electronically.
  • Assist and manage flow of inventory as requested. Including issuance and management of floor stock items; ensuring accurate/sufficient inventory at all times.
  • Responsible for ensuring raw material, floor stock and finished good accuracy.
  • Create purchase orders, subcontract purchase orders or work orders, as requested or necessary.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and participate in physical inventory count.
  • Responsible for reviewing standard operating procedures/department instructions, as necessary.
  • Assists with identifying and/or implementation of new business practices/processes.

Office/Facilities Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for day-to-day facility maintenance
  • Serve as primary contact for security key card access, loaners, and access termination.
  • Stock and replenish kitchen, office and shipping supplies
  • Organize and main cleanliness of the office (common areas, employee breakroom, company area and conference rooms)
  • Order and set-up weekly employee lunch
  • Other duties as requested.
  • Comply with Presidio Medical’s quality system requirements as well as any applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations, policies, and work practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

  • 2+ years of shipping & receiving and material handling experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems a plus.
  • Follows company practices and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Dangerous Goods handling certification.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Minimum of a High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Varied sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. or less.
