About The Role
beatBread is currently seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to help track and report key measures and guide the business in its continued growth and success. The Business Analyst is a pivotal role responsible for leveraging data, analytics, and trends to enhance performance and drive informed decision-making across the Product and business organizations. This analyst will report to beatBread’s Head of Product, with a “dotted line” to the CEO, while collaborating closely with the Senior Manager of Finance. Efforts and workload will be divided across product-driven performance and funnel metrics, analysis of customer research, financial analysis to support the prioritization of new feature development and other ad hoc business analytics. Salary range of $70k - 100k plus benefits and equity.

Responsibilities include:
- Understand disparate sources of product, sales, customer, and competitor data available.
- Market and customer research.
- Define and source metrics underlying a variety of business / product initiatives, collaborating with the finance team regarding cost, effort and payback.
- Collaborate with technology, finance, and business stakeholders to create automated dashboards reporting on company-level KPI's, product health metrics, and other performance monitoring tools.
- Propose and lead process improvements related to data compilation, gathering, publication and sharing, in close coordination with technology, finance and business stakeholders.
- Develop funnel conversion and CRM metrics to inform optimization efforts based on useful customer segmentations.
- Support various internal teams with key insights on a regular cadence via reports, presentations and robust storytelling techniques.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of business analytics or related experience
- Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.
- Exceptional skills with Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Proven strategic thinking and analytical skills to support scenario analysis
- Understands and lives a “customer first” mentality with empathy, pragmatism and a hands-on approach
- Open minded, team player with a sense of humor
- Proven verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell stories with data.

- Self-motivated—striving for personal and team success.
- Can work independently and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation and Company Benefits
- The range for this position, experience dependent, will be between $70,000 to $100,000.

We have also recently announced a $100M artist funding facility, but will be engaging additional funding sources, including institutional investors and banks, in 2023.
