Job Summary:
As our HR Generalist, you will be a key partner to leadership and employees, managing day-to-day HR operations while contributing to strategic initiatives. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of HR, from recruiting and employee onboarding to benefits administration, compliance, and culture-building — all in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
- Lead recruitment efforts: post jobs, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage offer process.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding for employees, ensuring a smooth experience.
- Maintain HR records, compliance documentation, and employee files in HRIS.
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
- Assist with expense report processimg
Employee Relations & Culture
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, performance, and workplace issues.
- Support performance management processes, including reviews and goal-setting.
- Help develop and maintain employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and a strong remote culture.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Prepare HR metrics and reports for leadership (turnover, headcount, diversity, etc.).
- Maintain up-to-date HR policies and employee handbook.
Strategic Support
- Partner with leadership to define and implement HR strategies aligned with company growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and HRIS tools.
- Experience supporting a remote workforce strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing company.
- Knowledge of TriNet beneficial, but not required.
