Position: Product Manager, Data Analytics                        Status: Full Time

Supervisor’s Title: SVP, Product Management              Start Date: TBD

Location: US / Remote

Primary Goal: The primary goal of the Product Manager is to help Markaaz deliver our product roadmap. You will oversee and manage the production of new functionality and enhancements to our products from beginning to end. You will work directly with data, engineering, and other members of the product team to deliver these initiatives and collaborate with operations, marketing, and sales to ensure successful market adoption of our innovations. You will also be a champion of the Customer, striving to deliver solutions that delight and continuously incorporating their feedback into our product roadmap.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Execution of the product roadmap in support of the product strategy for our SaaS products
  • Development of business requirements for innovations and solutions.
  • Planning and driving product launches and GTM strategy in collaboration with marketing and sales.
  • Driving action throughout the organization for product adoption as a product champion.
  • Gather and analyze customer and market feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Participation in product prioritization meetings with other product team members, the engineering team, and scrum master.
  • Management of the lifecycle of in-life products – including Customer feedback, feature prioritization, and issue resolution.
  • Analysis of products – including product performance and customer adoption rates – to monitor, report, and improve the solutions.
  • Analyzing and reporting on product development and roadmap status.
  • Close collaboration with the data team, scrum master, and product departments to ensure product development is in-line with company strategy.
  • Development of supporting documentation for integration and administration of the products.

 

Required Minimum Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Business Administration, or similar technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience working as a product manager or product owner in a fast-paced environment. Experience in FinTech, Financial Services, SaaS, B2B2C orB2C products is a plus.
  • Experience with REST, JSON, and similar technologies related to working in a software / data company.
  • Proficient in the use of product development software like Jira and Confluence.
  • Proficient in the use of Postman or similar API Development tools.
  • Experience in the use of data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Zoho Analytics.
  • Experience preparing documentation in formats appropriate for a variety of audiences.
  • Experience on a product team is a plus.
  • Experience with global business is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and SaaS models is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment: This position is predominantly remote. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for up to eight hours or more at a time. The employee must use his/her hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee will be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 125 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
