Position: Sr. UI/UX Designer Status: Full Time

Primary Goal: The primary role of the UI/UX Designer is to walk in the shoes of our customer; inform and design clean and effective user experiences across our products. By working cross-functionally, this candidate will understand needs from the customer, product management, engineering, and business stakeholders and will be able to design solutions that fit those needs.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that user needs are met, and experience is designed in a seamless way, with intuitive and intelligent design.
- Design visually appealing and functional user interfaces through wireframes, prototypes, and mockups in tools like Figma that may be utilized by engineering in the products.
- Continuously analyze best practices and design trends to identify design upgrades and opportunities.
- Collaborate with product and sales to develop user personas and customer journey workflows.
- Conduct internal research and foster collaboration with product management, engineering, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to inform customer journey.
- Learn from customer feedback and tickets, identify challenges, and solve by incorporating upgrades through the product roadmap with the product team.
- As needed, conduct external user research to understand needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Ensure the products meet usability and accessibility standards and as needed conduct usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
Required Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), UX/UI, Research, or a related field of study
- 8+ years of experience in designing products, with a focus on understanding user experiences and user behavior.
- Strong working knowledge of designing and building mobile app user journeys and web user journeys.
- Proficient in wireframing, creating user stories and journeys, visual mock-ups, and prototypes that can be delivered to engineering for implementation.
- Proficient in the usage of product development tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Strong working knowledge of designing and building in Figma.
- Experience in developing for solutions architected on ReactJS, HTML, and S3.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This position predominantly operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for up to eight hours or more at a time. The employee must use his/her hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee will be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 125 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
