Skopos Financial dba Reprise Financial is seeking a passionate, and highly motivated Data Engineer to join our Enterprise Data Management team. This position will require design and development experience with ETL tools to contribute toward the success of the strategic technology initiatives. The candidate will be working closely with team members to develop new ETL streams and manage existing for our production business including the operational intensive ETL jobs. In this role you will be part of a high performing team to design, architect and drive the delivery of modern data solutions.

What You’ll Do:
• Partner with core business line and key stakeholders to design, develop and execute operational and strategic interventions that align with business priorities
• Create and recommend solution design options factoring in customer requirements, standards, and current/new infrastructure environments
• Leads all phases of solution development. Explains technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients and less experienced team members
• Works to drive both high level and detailed technical designs, conducts technical reviews, tests, and implements solutions in production environments
• Monitor daily and real time production streams. Identifies issues and engages respective team members to resolve and elevate software into production
• Create ETL solutions using SSIS REST APIs to move data from various heterogeneous data sources ranging from flat files, Excel, Oracle, SQL Server, XML, XSL files, JSON files
• Must be highly skilled at communicating across the organization ranging from development partners to senior management
• Develop cloud strategy and create a road map for cloud migration
• Support on-call rotation for production issues and apply break fixes
What You Bring:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• At least 10 years of experience with developing and implementing applications
• Expert in programming T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and SSIS including making Rest-API calls from SSIS
• Expert at isolating and resolving T-SQL and SSIS performance issues, without using Profiler • Experience with Source control to setup and manage source code
• Exposure to Cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake and AWS is a plus
• Must have solid understanding of database ETL techniques along with strong database knowledge in transactional and data warehouse scenarios
• Knowledge of Cloud data and platform security concepts with a preference on AWS Cloud and MS Azure Cloud
