Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with various business functions (Sales, Operations, and Finance) to develop and implement process automation, working with the current product backlog and development roadmap. Serving as the liaison between Business Units and the Development Team, the Business Systems Analyst manages projects from conception to deployment, which includes documenting use cases, process flows, requirements, test plans, and user reference materials. This role also involves conducting live and recorded training for project deployment. Ideal candidates will have experience with NetSuite ERP, enabling them to address business issues by managing NetSuite workflows, objects, fields, and lists. Additionally, this role may assist with Support Desk case management to stay in tune with current internal business issues, leading to potential improvement opportunities. This is a high-profile role with the potential to significantly influence the future direction and success of the business.

Responsibilities

Analysis and Solution Definition:

  • Act as the liaison between the Development Team and business groups, providing a single point of contact for business needs into the Technology Team.
  • Make recommendations for product/system enhancements based on business feedback.
  • Lead development discussions with business groups and the Technology Team to finalize expected deliverables.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and process observation to recommend best practice solutions for improved productivity and user experience.
  • Assist the user community in analyzing and defining needs, creating detailed specifications from which development projects will be written.
  • Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
  • Analyze the impact of issues and solutions on other areas of the company.

Delivery Management and Testing:

  • Oversee the implementation of new functionality and keep business owners updated with project progress.
  • Complete End-to-End Testing and facilitate User Acceptance Testing to ensure all requirements are met and all automation functions as designed.
  • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Work with affected personnel to identify required changes and communicate necessary changes to the development team.

Project Execution:

  • Assist in enforcing project deadlines and schedules.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality services to internal customers.
  • Understand the components of running a fiscally successful project.
  • Create, document, update, and train on new development or process changes.
  • Deliver live and/or recorded training sessions demonstrating new or updated processes.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Design business processes and workflows.
  • Provide input and technical expertise during design and development phases.
  • Assist with internal Support case management.
  • Ensure training and reference documentation is up to date and available for users to access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science.
  • Candidates must be located in the Denver Metropolitan Area.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite or SFDC required; experience with both is preferred.
