Part-Time Tutor (Atlanta and Surrounding Areas)

Veritas Impact Partners is expanding, and we're seeking passionate part-time tutors to join our team in Atlanta, GA, and surrounding areas including Lawrenceville and Duluth. Position: Part-Time Tutor

Location: Atlanta, GA, Lawrenceville, Duluth, and surrounding areas
Type: Part-Time (with potential for full-time based on performance)
Work Environment: Hybrid (combination of remote and in-person sessions)

Key Responsibilities:

Tutor students across a variety of subjects from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Innovate and implement engaging tutoring activities to help students thrive academically.
Support students with homework, reading comprehension, and overall academic success.
Provide detailed reporting on tutoring sessions, including student progress and areas for improvement.
Manage data entry for accurate record-keeping and generate comprehensive reports.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders (in-person, via text, email, or remotely).
Request and manage photos of students for reporting purposes, ensuring proper handling and privacy.
Maintain organized records of tutoring sessions and student achievements.
Collaborate with program coordinators to ensure that students receive tailored support.

Familiarity with online tools like Zoom, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
Confidence in requesting photos of students for reporting purposes while ensuring privacy.
Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is required.

Qualifications:

Relevant experience in education, tutoring, or a related field.
High school diploma or equivalent required; GPA will be considered.
Proficiency in English and bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Reliable transportation for in-person tutoring sessions.
