Swimlane is seeking a highly-motivated individual based in the US to join our sales development team. You will drive new sales opportunities by qualifying inbound marketing leads and by prospecting for new engagements through email, phone and social media outreach.


As part of the marketing team and in close-collaboration with our sales team, this is a full time position that reports to the sales development manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive sales opportunities through prospecting and scheduling of sales meetings.

  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads to generate net-new opportunities.

  • Exceed quarterly and annual qualified lead generation goals.

  • Effectively utilize and maintain the CRM to manage activities and sales details.

  • Actively engage in sales skills improvement.

  • Understand customer needs and requirements, including a deep understanding of Swimlane’s ideal customer profile (ICP).

  • Ability to clearly position Swimlane as a company and the core value-proposition of Swimlane’s low-code security automation solution. 

  • Constantly keep up to date with product changes and messaging.

  • Liaise with marketing and sales teams to make sure teams are aligned and working toward common goals.

Qualifications/Core Skills:

  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.

  • Strong confidence and presence when communicating over the phone and on Zoom.

  • Strong listening and presentation skills.

  • Ability to self-manage as a remote worker while being part of a team.

  • Proven track-record of meeting and exceeding expectations.

  • Experience utilizing a CRM to manage your activities (Salesforce a plus)

  • Familiarity with sales automation tools like Outreach or Salesloft is preferred

  • “Can do” attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Experience in the IT security market or with similar solutions is a plus.


Experience:

  • 4 Year Degree Preferred

  • 1+ years of sales experience (B2B selling and/or demand generation preferred)
