Job Summary:
Polimorphic is seeking experienced public sector Account Executives to fuel our continued growth. We’re looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to build a sales function and be on the ground floor as we create our go-to-market strategy and messaging. As such, creativity, ingenuity, self-starting, constant learning, and collaboration with an exceptional team will be paramount to your success. Your voice and creativity will be heard.
You will be instrumental in driving sales and fostering strong relationships with government clients. Your role will involve creating a strategy for tackling this territory, prospecting to cold and warm leads, identifying and making new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, nurturing key accounts to drive upsell revenue, and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the region to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Identify and create new business leads within state and local governments through market research, networking, lead generation and collaboration with other reps on what is working in other territories.

Maximize our substantial investments in consultants, marketing, engineering, and sales development professionals for your territory.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key government clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored CRM and AI software solutions.

Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients as needed.

Negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitable growth for Polimorphic.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop region-specific campaigns and promotional activities.

Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts and reports to the Director of Sales.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and challenges and share these across the Polimorphic team and the Sales Team specifically.

Represent Polimorphic at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Funnel feedback from the market back into the organization to drive product development and lead gen activities in optimal directions.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in public sector technology sales.

Proven and consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and earning top-level rankings on your former sales teams.

Strong understanding of the government market.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently without micro-management.

Ability to travel throughout the region as needed (likely 20 - 30%)
