BTS Company Overview: This position is with a large well-established hospitality company; a progressive and diverse company that has been serving the corporate, social, and production industry for over 35 years. The company is headquartered in San Diego, California and services large corporations, private clients, major sporting events (including the Super Bowl, Farmers Insurance Open, Rose Bowl, and the Olympics), news broadcast companies including NBC, venues, concert tours, corporate marketing tours, and large-scale events throughout the globe.   

Our small Wine Bar is perfectly situated in the heart of San Diego. We offer our clientele an assortment of delicious wines as well an amazing selection of small plates, flatbreads artisanal cheeses and charcuterie from around the world. We are looking for our newest team member for this culinary position. Job overview: This is a part-time position and no guarantee of weekly scheduled hours, but hours can vary between 15 hours when busy. We are looking for a candidate that is hard-working and wants a flexible schedule.  

You will be assisting the chef with food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and organization.  

  • Assist in preparing ingredients for small bites, salads, and other menu items following the guidelines and recipes provided by the Chef.  

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep area, including proper food storage.     

  • Ensure dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.  

  • Work closely with kitchen and front of house team to ensure the guests are getting the best service.  

 

Schedule: Variable hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
