We are looking to hire a Closing Server for our small neighborhood wine bar.

Village Vino has been around for 11 years and has provided San Diego with a constantly rotating selection of wines from small producers that we feature by the glass and by the bottle. Our monthly events and wine club offer a unique opportunity to explore eclectic wines not only for our guests but for our team members as well. If you are available to work on weekend nights and passionate about helping to grow our curated list of wines from around the worldwide in an environment that is fun, casual, and provides topnotch service. 

 

The items you will need are:

• Valid ID
• Social Security Card
• County of SD Food Handlers Card (or ability to attain one on hiring).

 

The Details: Hourly rate is $18 From 18-20 hours a week with the opportunity for additional hours during events. Tip pool/share for shifts worked.

Right now the shifts we need covering are Tues, Sun nights 3:30pm until closing up till 10pm approximately.

Service experience is needed, wine knowledge/wine sales skills can be trained (candidate must have a thirst for wine knowledge).

We are looking for a positive-minded individual who can organize tasks and has a solid work ethic. Strong communication skills are essential.
