DUTIES:
Manage Operations involving catering for large scale events, such as Olympic games.
Attend venue site surveys to represent BTS interests with our Olympic and other Major Event Clients.
Interview and Screening of potential service employees, recruit and Supervise vendors and suppliers, coordinate logistics and operations details.
Coordinate and assist Project Staffing Manager with local staff scheduling and assignments to assure events have appropriate staff levels for required service.
Assist in Administrative tasks, including development and maintenance of project budget, coordinate Health and Safety logistics with local regulatory agencies, and liaise with Rental Equipment companies to assure all orders are placed, accurate, timely and properly returned.
Assure proper communication and information dissemination between BTS Management Team and staff, attending to regular meetings and providing regular updates and reports.
Assure that assigned events are set up, maintained, and serviced according to BTS standards, guaranteeing that they are properly stocked/serviced with inventory/service items and that all deliveries at these events/venues are properly coordinated with jurisdictional authorities.
Work with BTS Directors and/or Managers on special projects or tasks related to Major Projects and Olympic Games Hospitality operations, developing tracking and event costing reports, vendor pricing estimates, contracts, implementation of operational systems and procedures to be carried out by temporary service and culinary staff.
Position reports directly to company President/Managing Director.
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor`s degree in Hospitality or related field
Minimum of three years of experience in Luxury Events and management activities.
Decision maker and Problem and emergency solving skills;
Strong Interpersonal oral and written skills;
Ability to adapt to changing demands and to prioritize workflow resulting in efficient and accurate results;
Self Starter, ability to take a project from inception to completion.
Available to travel worldwide, bimonthly.
