Administered by specially trained infusion nurses, these services are provided at standalone locations, physicians’ offices or at home through a huge network of nursing agencies. Each location provides individualized care in a private setting for procedures including IVIg, Hemophilia, Biologics, Chemotherapy, and much more.

 

Profile Summary:

As a Specialty Pharmacy Account Executive, you will be responsible for effectively applying promotional and selling strategies to expand company business opportunities and deliver revenue in an assigned area and contribute to the achievement of the company’s revenue goals.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Drive sales with a focus on disease states, market segments or therapeutic classes in different medical fields including but not limited to Neurology, Oncology, Allergy Immunology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, etc.
  2. Provide complex and technical information to ensure awareness and appropriate use of company products to designated physician specialists, medical group practices, hospitals, and other health care professionals.
  3. Educate customers on the River’s Edge Pharmacy model and serve as the primary liaison for resolution of customer issues to maintain customer relations for all targeted clients. 
  4. Cultivate new referral sources through prospecting and cold calling. 
  5. Implement creative promotional sales campaigns and target marketing planning to increase market visibility for the RE Pharmacy brand. 
  6. Collaborate internally with the operations team to ensure a proper flow of information between clients, accounts, and the pharmacy. 
  7. Develop collaborative working relationships with all pharmaceutical counterparts and their respective therapeutic classes. 
  8. Execute all target sales and marketing plans and strategies with appropriate attention to detail and timely follow-up. 
  9. Exhibit trade shows and events throughout the US. 

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in Business or Health Science related fields.
  • Five of more years of outside pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Four or more years’ experience in Specialty Pharmacy Sales
  • A driver’s license and safe driving record

 

Desirable requirements:

  • Knowledge of the medical, healthcare or pharmacy industry and skills in clinical; preferably within the Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership.
  • Exemplified judgment and decision-making capability
  • Be results-oriented with demonstrated time management skills.
  • Ability to learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information.

Pay Range:

Annual base salary $75,000- $120,000.

Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
