Seeking a qualified Senior Program/Acquisition Specialist to support the Logistics Integrated Information Systems Marine Corps (LI2S-MC) government sponsor. LI2S-MC supports new and deployed technologies across the Marine Corps. This position will work with both government and contractor staff. Individuals must be able to collaborate, present, and disseminate technical and non-technical information to peers, customers, and external agencies as required.
Primary Skills & Responsibilities:
- Ability to organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned deliverables with strong written and oral communication skills including developing and presenting complex written products and oral briefings.
- Responsibility for risk management, contract development including development of performance work statement (PWS), acquisition strategy and maintaining LI2S-MC DITPR-DON submissions
- Coordinate and assist the Government with monitoring performance and progress against plans, baselines, and requirements.
- Assist in the identification and resolution of issues impacting program/project cost, schedule, and performance.
- Coordinate budget, costing, acquisition and contract input for program/project cost, schedule and performance estimates and draft work products.
- Assist in preparation and coordination of internal and external Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and briefings.
- Create and update guidance related to Program Management processes, roles, and responsibilities, and business rules.
- Support the development, analysis, and management of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to include validating task, resource, and schedule realism, milestone dates, predecessor and successor dependencies, and identifying critical path activities across multiple functional areas.
- Coordinate interactions involving customer negotiations and interfacing and engaging with senior management.
- Assist with the participation and management for Risk, Issues, and Management processes, documentation, and analysis.
Experience:
· Domain knowledge and experience to aid is decision making and recommendations have critical impact on overall project implementation.
Education/Certifications/Clearance:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in DoD Acquisition Management.
- DAWIA PM Level III certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI)
· An active Secret Clearance is required.
