Summary:
This position will support Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), working in the Chief Information Office (CIO) and Lead Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the Nation Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) IT Architecture Support as a IT Enterprise Architect.
Responsibilities/Experience:
· As a Systems Engineer, you would:
o Assist with development and production of DoDAF 2.0 Architecture drawings of IT support to intelligence analytical production, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) processes, in support of Combatant Command (CCMD) Operational Plans (OPLAN) and NMEC Functional Support Plans (FSP).
o Identify redundancies, gaps, and shortfalls and provide mitigation recommendations to increase efficiency, mitigate risk, increase productivity, and streamline mission partner experience.
o Assist and document change and configuration management with recommendations through various governance boards and directly.
o Provide support to foreign language divisions for process improvement and future process development.
o Identify gaps in divisions under NMEC where IT solutions will improve productivity, accuracy, and reporting.
· Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Working with analysts, functional and enterprise Intel planners, IT Senior Technical Advisors, and Senior Leadership throughout the Nation Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) and Combatant Commands.
o Support Scrum of Scrums, architectural review boards, concept planning and future state planning meetings.
o Briefing up to the Division Chief and Center Director and to provide talking points for briefs to the director of the agency.
o Familiarity with intelligence reports writing and publishing processes are a plus.
Education/Certifications/Clearance:
- 10 years’ experience in IT-related work
- BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science required. MS degree a plus
- IAT Level II Certification or Equivalent.
