Summary:

Serve as Subject Matter Expert providing Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) planning, analysis of assigned SATCOM assets for DoD focused on Electronic Warfare/Spectrum Management analysis for the Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Cell (JEMSOC).

Primary Skills & Responsibilities:

Provide A&AS to accomplish Engineering and Analytical support for the following tasks:

·       Modeling and Planning to include: Prepare plans and assessments, respond to technical queries regarding electronic warfare/spectrum management (EW/SM), establish and update EMS policies andfication procedures, conduct data fusion and analytics, and draft EW.SM correspondence, memoranda, briefing papers, etc.

·       Monitor EMS Operations and spectrum management, develop solutions for EW problems and deficiencies. Conduct electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation efforts. Provide support to mitigate, resolve EW conflicts. Provide EW research and technical input to maintain visibility and adversary EW capabilities.

·       Provide synchronized integration support regarding EW including evaluation and coordination of EW strategies, plans and policies in support of US Government and DOD objectives. Analyze, review, document radio frequency (RF) related matters. Review SM plans, policies, documentation in support of JEMSOC.

Experience:

Must have at least five (5) years of relevant SATCOM experience that includes:

·       Experienced in SATCOM interference identification and resolution

·       Experienced and knowledgeable of intelligence capabilities, processes, and tasking mechanisms  in the role of the Global SATCOM Operational Manager as described in CJCSI 6250.01 Series

·       In-depth knowledge and experience with one or more of the following systems: Milstar, Enhanced Polar System (EPS), Milstar Communications Planning Tool- Integrated (MCPT-I), Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF), Time Distribution Sub-system Pre-Processor (TDSPP), Fleet Satellite Communications System (FLTSAT), Joint MILSATCOM Network Integrated (JMINI), Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS), Mobile User Objective System (MUOS), Ultra High Frequency Follow-on (UFO), Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS), Global Broadcast System (GBS), Joint SATCOM Management and Planning System (JSMPS), or Joint Integrated SATCOM Tool (JIST)

·Education/Certifications/Clearance:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical field such as electrical engineering, computer science, or information technology BS in Information Systems or 6 years additional relevant training and experience in lieu of degree

An active Top Secret Clearance required and SCI eligible
