Summary:

Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing Primavera (P6) training support.  Primary functions include:  

  • Provide  system user training in one or more of the following systems:
    • Depot Project Management System (DPOMS), Navel Electronics Supply Support System (NESSS), Contract Workbook Database (CWD), Maintenance Management
  • Use currently available training material, all training materials will be virtual and, in all cases, compatible with the CG Standard Workstation III (SWIII) and Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) workstation image. 
  • Ensure students achieve all training objectives; assessing them through knowledge checks during training and through feedback received in student training critiques.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on contemporary instructional methods and techniques; ability to revise and update training materials, e.g. student handouts/course books, simulation exercises, lesson plans, instructor guides, tests, presentation slides, learning objectives, curriculum outlines, training aids, etc. 
  • Participate as a member of an instructional team comprised of both Government and Contractor personnel.  Coordinate with Coast Guard technical and instructional staff on all matters related to course maintenance to ensure continuity of material, consistency of layout, flow of subject matter, and technical accuracy. 
  • Provide onsite presence at Norfolk, VA, Baltimore, MD, and Alameda, CA to provide business process and system support for users in their business roles within the enterprise logistics system.  This support includes training and documentation support for all functional areas of logistics management and the mission support business model, including but not limited to: Configuration Management, Maintenance Management, Depot Project Management, and Supply Chain Management.       

Experience:

·      Must possess at least five (5) years’ experience logistics systems used for configuration management, maintenance management, and supply processes for large complex logistics program within multi-layered organizations.

·      Experience with DPOMS support, Time Control Industrial, Primavera (P6) subject matter expert level experience is desired.

Education/Certifications/Clearance:

        ·        Bachelor’s Degree

  • Must possess or able to obtain Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12
