- Location: Mission Valley/San Diego, CA
- Summary: This position is in support Navy’s various Unmanned Systems. This effort provides support to the NIWC Pacific Unmanned Systems (UxS) Cybersecurity Engineering Services (UCES) Integrated Product Team (IPT) for researching, recommending, designing, and implementing high assurance technical solutions in the fields of cryptographic solutions, cryptographic key management, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), Cybersecurity Testing, TEMPEST, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Program Protection implementation including Critical Program Information (CPI), Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), Software Assurance, and Anti-Tamper implementation. Will perform as a member of team providing engineering, analytical, scientific, technical, and management security services.
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze Information Management and Knowledge Management systems for security requirements. Based on the analysis, develop systems architecture with security that allows access to legacy databases and migration to more advanced databases and collections of information over time
- Assist in gathering requirements and make recommendations for product development
- Assist in software development and deployment and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Generate input into necessary program documentation for Government approval and track program performance in relation to project plans in accordance with program technology goals.
- Review/update for review, existing technical and program management documentation.
- Support the designated test site (labs and other USG facilities) for interoperability testing.
- Provide technical input and support by assisting with technical problems/issues and recommending alternatives. Perform troubleshooting by working closely with the engineering and development teams to resolve issues as required.
- Qualifications/Skills/Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Programming languages: Perl, Java, C++, HTML, PHP, MySQL, Scheme, MatLab
- Software: Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver, 3ds Max
- Operating Systems: Unix, Win, Novell NetWare and Red Hat Linux 6.0
- Middle Wares: Java Servlets, JSP, Java Script and Java Beans
- Current active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI if required.
- Education and Certifications:
- An advanced degree (Master's required, Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science or a related field.
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT II.
