Coverage Group

Wolfe Research is seeking an institutional salesperson to join its mid-town New York based firm, covering New York clients. The firm’s clients include many of the world’s largest asset managers with mutual funds, pensions and hedge funds as the primary constituents. Wolfe seeks to be best-in-class in a focused set of research, sales and trading activities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The sales function provides the primary client interface for both research delivery and revenue generation. Heavy outbound call volumes, frequent client meetings / presentations and travel are the norm.
  • The sales position requires command of a complex and extensive research product line and the ability to distill the material for use by highly sophisticated institutional investors.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of Sell-side Sales (preferable Equity Sales) experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication, as well as in personal presentation.
  • A clear track record of drive and high achievement in prior roles, is essential.
  • An MBA / CFA is desirable.

 

 At Wolfe Research we feel passionately about equal pay for equal work and pay transparency is an integral practice for that. The compensation for this role is market competitive with a base salary range of 95,000-130,000. We intend to offer the selected candidate a base salary within this range, based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill set, job-related experience, and location. In addition, we offer an annual discretionary incentive bonus and competitive employee benefits including: medical, dental and vision coverage; life, accident and disability insurance. Wolfe also offers paid time off packages that include vacation, sick days/leave, paid holidays and paid parental leave.
