The Build to Rent (BTR) Leasing Consultant (Multi-Site) position requires commitment, passion, and the ability to serve people. This position involves enthusiasm, creativity, and knowing what drives the rental market to ensure successful outcomes for our tenants and communities. The BTR Leasing Consultant will be responsible in supporting the search for qualified tenants for our multi-family and build to rent communities with Nehemiah Management.

  • Collaborate with the Property Manager on marketing, sales and resident satisfaction initiatives

  • Provide excellent customer service experiences to prospective and current residents

  • Communication, including verbal and written skills, for everyday tasks, answering questions and expediting the lease application process
  • Ability to translate financial and legal real estate terminology into approachable language
  • Attention to detail for managing all aspects of lease terms, move-in procedures, and financial transactions
  • Prospect and Resident focused approach Working knowledge of Microsoft365
  • Ability to adapt to new technology


  • At least two years of leasing experience
  • Knowledge of leasing rules and regulations

  • Ability to develop, maintain, and foster relationships at every level with prospects, residents, vendors, and the Nehemiah Management team

  • Ability to meet expectations of at least a 20% closing ratio in sales

Physical Demands/ Work Environment

  • Extensive walking, sitting, and standing
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
