About Your Role:

 

We are looking for a well-rounded engineer who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace continuous learning and challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be ready to jump in on Day One.

  • A team player with highly technical analytical and communication skills to catalyze DevOps best practices across Custodia

  • Ability to code in one or more programming languages

  • Experiencing managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments

  • Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing projects

  • Strong desire to automate where possible

  • Well developed sense of craftsmanship and security

 

Responsibilities & Results:

  • Support Developer Experience by iterating on our Ephemeral Development Environments that leverage Skaffold.

  • Improve cloud spend efficiency by iterating on our kubernetes node scaling and CI/CD strategies.

  • Improve third-party tool spending by identifying potential inefficiencies.

  • Improve development feedback loops by iterating on systems for CI/CD and local development.

  • Advocate for better observability and monitoring of Custodia application by championing good SRE practices across the organization.

  • Enable software delivery and value visibility across Custodia infrastructure.

  • Manage infrastructure within an AWS environment with Terraform to support multiple business units as part of a centralized platform infrastructure team.

  • Facilitate collaboration through documentation and knowledge sharing.

  • Collaborate with DevOps team members to deliver business value.

  • Champion DevOps practices to all the teams in the organization

 

Qualifications:

Experience in the following areas:

  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

  • Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

  • Containerization (Docker)

  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Gitlab Pipelines)

  • Git (Gitlab)

  • Scripting (Bash)

  • Programming (Golang)

Bonus if you have experience with:

  • Golang, Python, Django, Skaffold, Postgresql, Bitcoin or other relevant cryptocurrency knowledge

For CO, NY, CA and WA residents, the salary range for this position is up to 150,000/year DOE with additional equity compensation and bonus opportunity. Actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience and location.
